21st Birthday

hmmm... 21st birthday.. i wouldn't say that is super fabulous and fantastic...
i recall that weiye kept telling me that i should do more stuffs to make my 21st bday a memorable one... like having chalet and all... i didn't have a chalet.. i didn't have any party of any sort... but i'm happy and i know that this 21st birthday is a memorable one.. not because of the presents i received.. but because i learnt something... =)

yups... i learnt to be thankful... i remember that 1 week ago.. while on my way down to meet my cedar gang for my bday celebration.. it suddenly dawned on me that i've been very unappreciative of everything and everyone around me... it dawned on me that these friends of mine are willing to take time off their super busy and super hectic schedule to celebrate my brithday with me.. and i'm thankful for that.. i'm thankful for friends who are willing to spend time with me... even though we've drifted apart since sec sch days... thankful for the joy and laughter that we enjoy everytime we gather.....

i'm really glad and thankful.. just wanna say a huge thank you to shufen.. lishan.. jasmine.. elaine.. qi... weiting also lah.. haha.. for our 8 years of friendship... for always taking time out to meet up for birthday celebrations...

thank you to Crusade friends.. ppl who are ever so caring and nice... =) for remembering my bday.. for the bday song... for the prayers... for the encouragement... for everything... =)

thankful for great friends in aikido... for the time and effort u guys and gals put in for the cake.. balloons... book.. and head scratching for my present... thank you ppl for celebrating my bday with me... thank you for the fun and joy and happiness....

yup... the book that huilin made for me.. with everyone's well wishes.. as i read through it .. i noticed how most ppl commented that i'm happy and bubbly.. and i'm glad that i've brought smiles to them.. that sometimes i've managed to brighten up the day just a little... i'm thankful for that.. i thank God that He gave me a reason to be happy.. to be cheery.. and jump with joy... =) not everyone goes through life as smoothly as i did... and i'm thankful for all the blessings that God has showered upon me... and i'm thankful that i too can be used to bless others.. =)

yups.. so though this 21st year of my life on earth did not come with huge celebration.. but i'll remember it always.. for the friends.. for their effort and time spent to celebrate my bday for me... =)

oh.. here's what i got for my bday... haha.. alot of items were bought though.. coz of the 100 bucks taka voucher... haha...

some namecard holder thingy for mum and dad... hee hee... =)

letter pad!! for me to write letters to everyone~~ haha.. =)

bear bear.. yay.. i love stuff toys ok.. =D

pen and some nametag holder for my mum...

haha.. tissue box cover.. always wanted one... hee hee...

chocolate sundae at some super expensive jap restaurant... 8 bucks ok!!!

green tea ice cream with mochi~~~ also 8 bucks i thinK....

yay.. nice top~ from taka... i had a hard time shopping for clothes there.. all so oldish.. =X

pencil case from 37 degrees... not gonna use it as pencil case.. it shall be my miscellaneous bag. haha..

erm.. i think i shall make this my pencil case lah.. the cat is expensive cat ok.. 22 bucks for this wors... wouldn't buy it if not for the voucher lohs.... =P
