busy through the week.. + an encouragement...

had a busy busy week... monday to friday.. packed with stuffs to do... well.. in the midst of it .. celebrated dear lishan's bday as well.. strangely we didn't take much photos over dinner.. haha.. i guess we took too many photos during their convocation.. too tired to take more photos thereafter.. haha.. here's more pics from jas's camera.. waiting for the other photos! .... haha.. i'm so looking forward to next year! when elaine and i graduate! then we're gonna take studio photos all together! how cool! ... can just picture like a few more years down the road when we all sit down together and flip through the pics from our times in cedar.. jc times... uni times.. and graduation... =)

yeps... seriously.. was very tired out from all the running about.. getting home super late...

was talking to God abt this on thursday while on the bus.. then was just overwhelmed with fear.. not knowing how i would cope when school starts.. then the song 祷告was playing on my phone...

was encouraged by these words... a reminder that the strength that i need for each day is given to me each day by God ... that His grace alone.. is sufficient for me.... =)

hope this serves as an encouragement to those who are feeling kinda weary... =)

haha.. cats that i met so far.. haha.. white cat above is one lovely stray at changi village hawker centre.. real big eyes .. totally princess.. royalty look... haha...

brown cat is from the coffeeshop near my house.. the real life garfield.. so totally heck care about his/her surroundings... with eyes closed and dozing off while people walk past.. and me happily taking pictures.. muahaha... =P

what's in the lab....

meet one of the many many many tarantulas in the lab! this is some mexican red knee thing that's really common in the lab.... looks quite cool..

this is Scytodes magnus... the huge spitting spider from Batu Caves.. last i checked.. it grew fatter... ewww....

the tarantula again... i'm most fascinated by them.. haha...

see how big it is.. not tiny tiny one ok.. and this isn't the biggest.. i found a huge black one hidden in one of those obscure.. tot got nothing inside box with alot of soil.. that one is pure evil looking mans.. shall take a pic of it next time.. if it isn't hiding in the soil that it... fierce one!

haha.. in case u guys are worried.. no.. we don't conduct experiments on these guys.. too few of them to do so anyways.. and this isn't a genetics lab.. so no fooling around with DNA and watsoever.. it's behavioural lab.. we just stare at the spiders.. heh heh... =P come visit me if u dare! =P

beautiful beautiful scenery... why do i love to stare at sunsets.. sunrise.. the sky... the trees... the grass patch.... haha.. i think i know why ... i guess to me.. it reflects God's glory.. how amazingly He puts everything together.. and the beauty that these exhibit is but a small small reflectance of His beauty and His glory.. and i guess looking at the skies and the sea and the grassland just signifies freedom to me.. something that i always cherish.. freedom.. and my dreams.. hee hee.. yups...

wanna thank everyone who helped out for the amazing race.. wanna thank everyone who turned up.. wanna thank God for His providence.. heh heh.. really.. though i was really somewhat stressed up over this entire event.. running about and trying to settle everything .. i really enjoyed myself.. i guess i really love organizing games.. haha.. and most importantly.. really seeing how God blessed the work.. and the fantastic weather that He gave really touched me... really... through this entire process of putting the entire event together.. God really showed me what it means to trust in Him.. what it means to be working alongside Him... and a reminder that working without love is meaningless...
